This is Ghetto Track. Before sun down is best. Price: FREE! Caution! Crack Heads and Cops frequent this spot. Bring a buddy or a weapon. Ride at your own risk.
This track offers all the amenities of any good raceway.

* A jump from the parking lot down in to turn 1

I've ridden here 3 times this month. Mostly at sunset. It appears the "Auto Detailing" business is MIA. It needs some love in the corners where the weeds have taken over. But overall it's still one of my favorite spots to hit in town.
The Ghetto Track days were short lived. The track still remains but now serves as a mobile car wash. Yeah, I know. What a waste. Sadly we the NCSUMO couldn't get organized enough to form a club. At best we are only a page. With a club we could have collected dues to pay rent/insurance. Maybe even start a business. There IS a need for a place like this in Charlotte. We could have done a lot with what little we had.
The first and only GT race was a blast and all who were there can attest to this. I tried to ride here a few weeks ago late one night. I was surprised to see they have two guys in camp chairs guarding it after hours. They were aggressive and ghetto acting. My hopes are that when it gets colder, the night watchmen will p**s off so I can ride there again.
