🍂 CWSRC’s Signature Annual Event is Back! 🍂

Join us Saturday, October 24 for our Fall Family Food Truck, Fire Pit & Movie Night at the Cameron Wood Swim & Racquet Club! This is always one of our favorite events of the year, and we’re looking forward to another great evening with our neighbors, families, and friends.

Food trucks will be serving from 5:00–8:00 PM, with Minions and Monsters beginning at 7:15 PM. Grab some dinner, gather around the fire pits, and bring your chairs and blankets to settle in for a movie under the stars!

🎃 Costumes are encouraged! We also encourage everyone to bring candy to share with kids who come dressed in costume and would like to trick-or-treat throughout the event. It’s a fun way for everyone to help make the evening extra special for the kids!

🍁 This event sponsored by the Cameron Wood Swim and Racquet Club and Kim Dunnagan is open to the entire Cameron Wood neighborhood and our surrounding communities! Encourage your friends and family to come on out and join us for one of our favorite fall traditions! 🍂🔥🎬

A HUGE thank you to Brandon Millette and Lou Fabian for hosting and running tonight’s Adult Trivia Night! We had a great turnout, and everyone had a fantastic time trying to tackle all of the challenging trivia questions!

There were some great prizes, lots of laughs, and of course, delicious BBQ sandwiches! A big thank you to Tommy Guard for providing the amazing barbecue.

We are so fortunate to have talented neighbors who are willing to share their time and talents and partner with us to create fun events for our club members and their guests. Nights like this are what make our community so special!

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight. We’re already looking forward to another fun game night in the future!

To the Cameron Wood Lap Swimmers and Aqua Joggers,

Thank you again for another amazing season! Year six is officially in the books!

It has been such an awesome spring and summer—not only having the opportunity to swim, aqua jog, and get our fitness on, but also getting to spend time with neighbors who have truly become friends. That has always been one of my favorite parts of this program.

It’s always a little sad to close the pool for the season, but we had a wonderful year and have so much to look forward to when we jump back in next summer.

A huge thank you to Tim Bahr, Becky Benton, and Chris White for stepping in and helping keep everything going when I couldn’t be there. I think we make a pretty great team, and I truly appreciate the time and dedication you give to our swim community.

This summer, we had more than 50 people participate in our Lap Swim and Aqua Jogging program! It has been so much fun watching the program continue to grow each year and seeing more neighbors take advantage of the pool for fitness, friendship, and some pretty great early mornings together.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, put in the laps, jogged those miles, shared some laughs, and helped make our sixth season such a success.

Have an amazing fall and winter, and I look forward to seeing everyone back at the pool for Summer 2027! 🏊‍♀️💦

Until next summer!
Jess White
