Today we’re celebrating one of the women who pours so much time, energy, and heart into Girls Who Hike NC. 💛🥾

Nataly is always working hard behind the scenes, showing up for our girls, and helping turn all of our wild ideas into actual adventures. 😂 From hikes and events to the million little things that happen when no one is watching, GWHNC simply wouldn’t be the same without her.

This Saturday, our GWHNC ladies showed up and absolutely CRUSHED Mammoth March at Lake James! 💪 From big miles to big smiles, these women challenged themselves, supported each other, and proved once again what our sisterhood is all about.

So much of what makes Girls Who Hike NC special happens behind the scenes, and Miranda gives so much of her time, energy, and heart to this community.

Miranda, please know that your efforts are seen and appreciated. You mean so much to us, and we’re grateful for everything you do—and for the person you are beyond it all.

This weekend, a group of our ladies packed up their tents and headed to the Outer Banks for a coastal adventure led by none other than our awesome Miranda Gordon ! 🏕️🌊

They spent the weekend camping at Oregon Inlet, climbing sand dunes, exploring two lighthouses, and making their way to the eastern end of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. Of course, no trip to the Outer Banks would be complete without a stop at Duck Donuts! 🍩

Between all the exploring, there was plenty of time to slow down, hang out by the beach, and enjoy the kind of moments that make these adventures so special.

Another GWHNC adventure in the books—and another reminder that the best memories are made together. 💙

**The event was cancelled. The adventure wasn’t.** 🛶⛺️🌲

Our ambassador Leilani Higgins Annand and six others decided to paddle in anyway, roll with the weather, and make the most of the weekend. 🌲💦

They got a little rain and thunder while setting up, followed by a big storm Saturday night that sent everyone scrambling for cover. But between the storms, there was plenty of time for laughs, good food, and soaking up the beauty of Lake James.

That’s the magic of GHWNC—good people, wild places, and adventures worth taking. 🛶🌲✨
