🎷 Summer Jazz Intensive Now Open

Music is core to development. Yet a child in our division is allowed to go from 6th grade to 12th grade without ever setting foot in a music classroom and elementary music time is very limited.

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Sonny Rollins. The Saxophone Colossus died this afternoon at his home in Woodstock, NY at the age of 95. “I think when the creative person ends, he continues in the next existence. I’m a person who believes this life isn’t the be-all and end-all of everything. A spiritual person doesn’t feel like that.” –S.R. (2009)

Not everyone does all of this, but the opportunities presented to band students are incredible! And the price of participation can be as low as $0!

There is no better value for your students than to be a high school band member. They can be challenged, engaged, active, and grow through an affordable and adaptable program that fits your and your child’s level of commitment. Time commitment levels vary from concert band playing 3 concerts a year, to students who do marching band, jazz band, districts, and wind ensemble and are active nearly every month.

Don’t let your kids miss out on the opportunities by not taking band in middle school where they develop the skills to do all these awesome things!
