Great to see horsemen helping horsemen especially when it comes to loading in at Rosie's Gaming and Colonial Downs! Brittany Eckert, whose RTL All Equestrian Center is based in Lawrenceville, Virginia, helped ship some Eagle Point Farm horses into the New Kent track's stable area this week. " I always enjoy helping Karen (Dennehy) ship horses," said Eckert. "She calls every year. We team up."

"We do a little bit of everything at RTL," she added. "We've been in Virginia since 2021 and have Virginia-Certified yearlings, a stallion and broodmares at the farm."

Colonial's stable area opened Wednesday in advance of a 46-day summer race meet that kicks off June 25 and runs thru September 7.
