The Virginia Wushu Club was founded by Mike Chin in the Fall of 2001. Mike's goal in the creation of Wushu Club was to bring greater awareness of the Chinese Martial Arts to the University community. We finished our FIRST zoom practice!!! If you're interested, it's definitely not too late to join :) We're beginner friendly and can give you a workout if you've been potato-ing the last few months during quarantine heh. Reach out to us if you're interested in joining and we can get you started in one of our zoom calls! Conner has been a part of Virginia Wushu all 4 years during his time at UVA and has always been an adorable (and weeby) addition to our club. Pure minded and soft, he is too cute to tease but don’t let that fool you - Conner holds the title of Master Shi Fu from Chinafest. We will definitely miss your adorable, cat-like personality!!

Sabrina joined Wushu club immediately after transferring to UVA and has been our trusted secretary this year. She is always there to capture cool, funny, and dumb moments in our club and bakes us cookies and takes care of us 🥺 We will miss your friendly personality and amusing stories!!

Stephen has been a part of the club for all four years at UVA and was our club mascot for all four years as well. He never fails to make everyone laugh with his one brain cell and we will miss all his “duuuuuuudes” and amusing facial expressions once he leaves.
