Another fantastic day racing for JJ and Andrew at Miller School. After a cold pre-ride in the morning, the temperatures were perfect for their races on another fantastic NICA course.

Here's a quick video of Andrew flying down Burke's Run at Saturday's Virginia High School Cycling League race at Miller School of Albemarle. After another tough start due to traffic and crashes, Andrew raced to his best finish of the year and moved into the top 20 overall with one race still to go.

Andrew moved up at race #2 of the Virginia High School Cycling League at Stokesville Campground last weekend. He was riding fast and attacking the climbs on a dry and technical racecourse. The team got off to a successful start to the season at race #1 last Saturday at Woodberry Forest School. With dry conditions and temperatures climbing into the low 90's, the flat course proved to be a good early-season test of the riders' fitness and determination.
The second race of the season is coming up on Sunday, October 6 at Stokesville Campground. After last season's rainy conditions, the riders are looking for friendlier conditions for the hilly course.

Adventure Weekend — Virginia Interscholastic Cycling League Join the League for the first Adventure Weekend at Stokesville Campground. Begin the season with a relaxed and enjoyable weekend with plenty of time to meet other racers and coaches from around the state.

Working on finding out details on the Adventure Weekend scheduled for Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15 at Stokesville Campground near Mt. Solon, Virginia. Watch this page and I will also send out an email with details once they become available!
Here's a reminder for the 2019 season interest meeting on Tuesday, August 6 at 7:00pm in the Upper School Library. Returning riders and families do not have to attend, but please let me know if you plan on racing this season.
I'll work up an email for all our returning riders with reminders about rider and race registration through the PitZone as well as links to the clothing ordering systems through Jakroo (for jerseys and shorts) and Squadlocker.com (for spiritwear.) Thanks!
