CHS Fall Girls Basketball workouts will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 at CHS. These are open to any girls interested in playing JV or Varsity basketball at CHS this season.

Join us in congratulating Elaina Pierce (pictured far right) on being named the 2026 Daily Progress Central Virginia girls track and field athlete of the year and Coach Erika Pierce for being named coach of the year! During her senior season at Charlottesville High School, Elaina won state titles in the 1,000-meter and 1,600-meter races during the winter season and the state title in the 1,600 during the outdoor season while also earning All-American honors in all three events. She is now a first-year student-athlete the University of Virginia. Coach Pierce led the CHS girls track and field team to a fourth-place finish in the VHSL Class 4 state meet. 2026 CHS Black Knights Basketball Camp

The CHS Black Knights Basketball Camp will provide 4 days of exciting, fun-filled basketball instruction and games. Current and former CHS girls and boys players will assist Coach Daly in teaching good fundamental skills with an emphasis on having fun and building a love for the game of basketball. Snacks will be available for purchase.

When: June 1-4, (Mon.-Thurs.) 9:00-Noon
Where: Charlottesville High School Gyms
Who: Boys and Girls ages 5 to 12
Cost: $100.00 per camp participant

Congrats to Korine Brown for being named 2md Team All-Region for Region 4D. Korine averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds in only averaging 18 minutes a game (due to large margin of score in victories on the season).

Congrats to Elaina Pierce for being named 1st Team All-Region for Region 4D. Elaina averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds in only averaging 23 minutes a game (due to large margin of score in victories on the season).

Congrats to Avery Stavitski on being named 1st Team All-Region for Region 4D for Girls Basketball. Avery was the second leading vote getter in the region!
