Saylor Schalk scores four second-half goals to fuel Notre Dame in comeback road victory | Chattanooga Times Free Press Instead of letting frustration get the best of her in a scoreless first half, Notre Dame's Saylor Schalk locked in and was masterful the rest of the way.

Irish defeat East Hamilton in a comeback win on the road! The Irish conceded a goal in the 5th minute and fought hard to find an equalizer but went into halftime trailing 0-1. In the 41st minute, Saylor Schalk scored off an assist from Georgia Smith to tie the match at 1-1. Just four minutes later, Saylor found the back of the net again off an assist from Alanah McDonald to give the Irish the lead. In the 52nd minute, Saylor completed her hat trick off an assist from Lia Gunther. In the 60th minute, Saylor added her fourth goal of the night off another assist from Alanah McDonald. In the 72nd minute, Ava Lovelace added the final goal off an assist from Georgia Smith.

Javeah Myricks and Caden Cuevas combined in goal to help secure the victory for the Irish. Standout performances came from Georgia Smith, Riley Young, Alanah McDonald, Saylor Schalk, and Savannah Jones.

The Irish earn a 5-1 comeback victory over East Hamilton and move to 4-1-1 on the season. The Irish return home on Thursday to host St. Andrew’s-Sewanee! ⚽️☘️
