The street that built the blues: Chattanooga’s music legacy Chattanooga's Ninth Street — once known as "The Big 9" — was a thriving center of Black culture and music on the city's West Side.

Exciting news from IRONMAN: Chattanooga, TN will host the 2027 Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship!

From SOCCER LIVE! at Chattanooga Green to NOOGAROO at the Creative Discovery Museum, plus Chattasings Circle Singing, Sunday Sounds across the city, and a special online release, this year is shaping up to be something special.

We're very encouraged to see the progress being made between CARTA and Lookout Mountain. The Incline Railway is a critical part of Chattanooga’s destination identity and one of the defining experiences that helped make Lookout Mountain an iconic part of our region. For more than 130 years, it has connected visitors to our scenic landscape, our transportation history, St. Elmo, and one of the most recognized places in Tennessee. It is not only a historic transportation asset, but an anchor experience that supports visitor activity, surrounding businesses, and the broader tourism economy. Its continued strength matters to Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, and the many people and businesses connected to the visitor economy it helps sustain.
