Bigger events. Bigger impact.
Meetings, conventions, festivals, and sporting events donât just fill a calendar, they fuel Chattanoogaâs economy and create meaningful momentum across our community.
In 2025, events generated $211.4 million in total economic impactâa 16.7% increase year over year.
Thatâs more than a number. Itâs jobs supported, businesses strengthened, and a city that continues to show up in a big way.

Wait⌠did Spain really choose Chattanooga as their 2026 FIFA World Cup basecamp? đŞđ¸â˝ď¸
Yep. Still feels a little surreal to say out loud.
Weâre proud to be selected as Spainâs 2026 FIFA World Cup basecamp â and even more excited to show the world what makes this place special.
Mountains. River. Soccer history in the making. Not a bad combo.
The Chattanooga Host City Authority is gearing up for Spainâs National Football Team to arrive in the Scenic City, and we're hosting a community training session this summer at the Baylor School Soccer Complex!
Admission to the event is free, but attendance is limited. Tickets will be distributed through a random drawing â fans have until 5 p.m. on June 1 to put their name in the running. Learn more at: cha.city/spain-training

Building relationships. Bringing events to life.
Behind every meeting or event booked in Chattanooga is a team focused on connectionâwelcoming planners in, showing them around, and introducing them to the people and places that make hosting here feel different.
That approach is working:
586 group bookings pursued (a 16.7% increase)
306 events booked (up 12.5%)
Real relationships lead to real results, and more opportunities for our local businesses and community to shine.
Linked in the comments below, our 2025 Annual Report tells this story and more. Check it out!
