Race Results - Chattanooga Heroes Run - ITS YOUR RACE

On behalf of our partners at Rock/Creek, we wanted to pass along a few *IMPORTANT* details about the Chattanooga Heroes Run tomorrow.

1. The event is centered around Rock/Creek Outpost at the Hubert Fry Center located at 4301 Amnicola Hwy, 37406

2. Entrance to the park will be at the Riverpark entrance closer to Chatt State. Parking volunteers will direct you to park in the field to the right. PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY!!

3. The Heroes Run will start at 8am. Please plan to arrive no later than 7am to ensure that you can park and get to the start line on time!!

4. The 1 Mile Fun Run is slated to begin at 10am.

5. There will be 3 aid stations on the course this year, however, if you would like hydration throughout the event, please carry a handheld water bottle.

6. There is rain in the forecast, which we are monitoring. Please dress appropriately. We plan on running the event rain or shine! There is no make up date.

7. If for some odd reason you have not registered, there will be onsite registration tonight at packet pick up, tomorrow prior to the start of the event and online at www.chattanoogaheroesrun.com

Four years ago, the eyes of the nation turned their gaze upon Chattanooga as members of our military were attacked. Tragically, we lost five Servicemen that day in an attack that occurred on our own soil not in some foreign conflict but right down the street. Chattanoogans’ responded by with the rallying cry of ‘Nooga Strong’ and through our resiliency we showed the world how strong we were. However, we need Chattanoogans to show our resolve one final time!

The Chattanooga Heroes Run has a singular mission, to help fund the Wreath of Honor by RE:site Studios, which will serve as the permanent memorial to our servicemen that we lost that day, and 100% of our proceeds will be donated to the Fallen Five Memorial Fund. The Wreath of Honor is slated to open in Fall of 2019 honoring our Fallen Five, however, funding of the memorial is not, yet, complete.

It is with great sadness that I inform all of you that registration for the fourth and final Chattanooga Heroes Run is lagging behind last years’ event with less than 400 registrants to date. This event has always been heavily supported by the community but we need more participants to come forward and register. Please join us one final time as we stand together and shower those families with the same love and affection that we showed them in 2015.
