TVCC currently boasts approximately 700 members from over 17 States and several foreign countries and has 20 American Canoe Association (ACA) certified Instructors in Whitewater Kayak, Flatwater & Coastal Kayak, Canoe, Standup Paddleboard, and Swift Water Rescue.

8/29/26 Barren Fork River Trip Report:
"18 paddlers drove to McMinnville Saturday to try the Barren Fork River. It is one of the prettiest rivers in our area and is well taken care of by local enthusiasts. Although the water level was low, we managed to make it down with minimal getting out. Many thanks to Jon Appel for planning this new trip and figuring out directions and the logistics. " ~Jim P.

What an incredible turnout at the 2026 Paddle Parade!! Shout out to Outdoor Chattanooga for hosting this incredible event! We always love working with you!! TVCC had several support boaters on the water and volunteers assisting on land!
Also a special thanks to the event partners Tennessee RiverLine , Sequatchie River Outfitters , and Tennessee River Gorge Trust for helping to make the Paddle Parade possible!!
