Want to be in the know about happenings in District 2 and all of Chattanooga? Ready to get involved? Join neighbors from Dale Acres to North Chattanooga at our April Neighborhood Network gathering.

This month Police Chief John Chambers and members of the department are joining us to discuss efforts to address loud vehicles and speeding. Bring your questions and a neighbor!

It’s STEAMfest time at Rivermont Elementary. Don’t miss this carnival-themed event with teacher sponsored STEAM activities. Today, April 10 from 4:30-6:30 at Rivermont (3330 Hixson Pike).

Rivermont Elementary Kindergarten Registration

Rivermont is hosting “Roaring into Kindergarten” event on March 31st to help you register your student that is zoned to us for the 26-27 school year. Your student must be turning 5 by Aug. 15th. We will host 2 times for families to choose from (9-11 and 4-5). We will have a tour, activity for your student to participate in, and help you register online. If you have any question please call the school at 423-870-0610 or email [email protected].

Please bring 2 proofs of residency, birth certificate, and shot immunization (it is okay if you won’t have it until Aug).

As we begin 2026, the SHNA board is regrouping and looking for new board members! We need neighbors to lend a hand and their input as we plan neighborhood events, upkeep our greenspaces, and build community among Stuart Heights neighbors.

What does the SHNA Board do?
The board plans several events throughout the year (Our 4th of July Parade, Summer Pool Party, and Holiday Luminary Fundraiser). We also coordinate upkeep of select greenspaces around the neighborhood. Got fun ideas for Stuart Heights? Join the neighborhood board and make it happen!

How much of a time commitment is serving on the board?
We recognize that serving on the board is voluntary. We just ask that board members attend evening board meetings throughout the year, as well as our Stuart Heights Neighborhood Meetings (open to all Stuart Heights residents). Additionally, we ask that members help volunteer with putting on one of our few events each year. The more board members the better! Many hands make light work :)

Do I need any special skills or experience?
Absolutely not! We need friendly neighbors of all skill sets who care about our wonderful neighborhood to join the board.

2025 Rivermont Elementary STEAMfest Silent Auction  

The Rivermont Elementary School Silent Auction is LIVE!

Last year, you all helped us raise $5500 to support Rivermont Elementary students and staff in the 2024-2025 school year. The PTA has been able to buy every child a RIvermont T-shirt to wear on "Flex Friday", funded the Mindfulness program for kids to have access to mindfulness training every Monday, built a shed for our outdoor classroom and filled it with supplies, funded our CARE closet to assist with clothing our students in need, served Rivermont staff 4 meals throughout the year, and built a Hammock Haven.
