A common question many have but are afraid to ask is: how do I know when to go heavier?
It's a great question that we wish more members would ask! Instead of going through the motions class after class and using the weights you normally use, be more intentional about the weight you choose and focus on how you feel during the exercise.
We put together some slides to help you know when to lift heavier and/or when you're ready to progress to something a little more difficult.

Meet Coach Brookes:
Hey everyone! I'm excited to be joining the coaching team and bringing my background in functional fitness to our Hyrox-focused community. I hold my CrossFit Level 1 certification and spent five years coaching at Lookout Fitness, where I logged countless hours on the floor and led workshops on rowing, muscle-ups, Olympic lifting, and more — all skills that translate directly to the kind of work capacity and engine Hyrox athletes need.
My classes will lean into that crossover, blending CrossFit-style conditioning with Hyrox-specific programming to help you build the strength, stamina, and pacing that race day demands.
On the athletic side, I played college baseball at Bryan College and have since taken my competitive drive to the pickleball court, including some pro tournament appearances.
