Mountain Bike Team TRY-IT-OUT Day!
With our partner: Northeast Tennessee Composite Team
When: This Saturday, May 16, from 10-12 a.m.
Where: The Disc Golf Parking Lot at Winged Deer
Who: Any rising 5th - 12th grader in the region who loves to ride!

Bring a parent, sign a waiver, and meet our coaches and some team members, work on some skills and go for a little ride. Find out all about our teams and how to get involved!

Let's hear it for Science Hill junior Allie O'Neal, who scored a perfect 36 on her ACT exam! 👏🎉

Allie said many of her classes helped prepare her for the test, but she's partial to STEM subjects, and her favorite classes have been Precalculus and Calculus with Mr. Wondergem.

May 16, both returning and new riders can come out for a Winged Deer ride (new riders, if you are interested, please complete the form above!)

Additional rides for returning riders will be announced through email and GroupMe.

Ready to hit the trails? This weekly ride is perfect for kids who already know how to ride and want to explore the outdoors with friends! We’ll cruise the Winged Deer Park Trails, build confidence on natural terrain, and have fun. No pressure, just good rides and great company.

Thank you Dr. Welch and Dr. Johnston for teaching our NICA First Aid and CPR course! We had 17 coaches participate in the training in preparation for our 2026 season.

NICA Race 5 is the State Championship and we have a big crew of riders down here in Chattanooga getting some practice runs in today!

Our “home trails” race was such a huge success. It was incredible to see so many of our riders on the course - 56 between the two teams combined. We got to cheer for so many of our riders who were racing for the first time. We got to see our experienced racers podium. We got to hear how much the other teams from all over the state loved our area and loved our trails. There were 470 riders in this race! ❤️

***so much gratitude for the City of Johnson City including the JCPD and the Parks and Rec crew - David Compton, Sam Miller, and Josh Collins who went above and beyond to make this happen!
