Madagascar Marathon and Half-Marathon

We are thrilled to bring back the Madagascar Marathon on Sunday, May 31, 2026. More than 50 international runners will be traveling to the remote area of Isalo National Park for this adventure race (Ultra 50K, Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10K). Additionally, close to 20 runners will be running the first edition of the African Challenge - Cape Town, South Africa to Madagascar! Stay tuned for updates. 🌍

We are SO EXCITED to return! The Madagascar Marathon and Half-Marathon is planned for May 13, 2023. Save the date for a trip of a lifetime. Details will be shared as soon as they are available!

A great race day in Isalo National Park. Congratulations to all marathon and half-marathon runners! Winner of the marathon was Wendi Campbell and her daughter Bronwen was first female half-marathon finisher. We’d also like to thank all the volunteers, Madagascar National Parks and le Jardin du Roy who all helped to make this event possible! Official results to be posted soon!
