Back in June 2019, Sam walked into Carter Park CrossFit fresh from Colombia. Along the way, he built the discipline and resilience that would carry him far beyond the gym.
We’ve watched him grow into someone who leads by example, serving others every day through his work at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Now he’s answering an even bigger call.
Today, he ships out to become a 68W Combat Medic with the National Guard, stepping into a role that demands courage, skill, and selflessness. And this November, he’ll continue that path by starting his Master of Science in Nursing paid for by the NG.
Proof that showing up day after day can take you further than you ever imagined.
We’re so proud to have you as part of this community.

Congratulations to our seven quarterfinalists from this years crossfit open! Good luck this weekend!
It’s no surprise that this group of athletes is made up of 4 healthcare professionals and 3 first responders and 5 of them are parents. Between everything they do, our athletes are role models to the community who show up when they can, and use fitness as a tool for wellness.
