Tomorrow is looking like a gorgeous day for a run! This week there is also The Big Run in Kendall Yards - see link with details below. This is on Wednesday for Global Running Day!!

This week we'll run a run we only ran once last year, so let's get it back in the rotation! This one is No/New Dog Route. Enjoy!

Hello Birds!! Looks like we all had fun tonight 😂 Thank you all for coming out and trying something new!

Hello Flightless Birds!

There's a lot of info in this email so please read to the end! :)

First, for tomorrow's run we will be doing an orienteering course setup by Tracy Schoenleber from the Eastern Washington Orienteering Club. Because there are directions and small gadgets involved please show up a few minutes early to get setup and we'll send runners/walkers out in a staggered start once people are set (it's more fun if you can't see people finding the checkpoints). I will also try to be there early to help answer questions, but check out www.ewoc.org if you want to know more.

Second, I am in desperate need of a few additional volunteers for our aid station at the Coeur d'Alene marathon this Sunday. So if you're an early bird (or can be one for a day) see the details below. Location: Lake Steamers Marker (6400-6670 E Coeur D'Alene Lake Dr, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814)
Time: meet at 5:40am (bonus, we get to watch the sunrise over the lake), first runners at 6:10am - but should be all done by 10:15am (breakfast anyone?)

And lastly, I have details on the Sativa Transue Memorial 5k linked. This is a great race that benefits a great cause.

Hello Birds!!
We have a special treat for you guys this coming tuesday!! We will have Tracy Schoenleber from the Eastern Washington Orienteering Club out to set up a course for us. Don't worry it's a variation of a familiar one (Chris' Challenge), so you won't get lost.

If you liked it, they have events all year!!

I will ask that everyone try to show up a teensy bit earlier than usual so we have time to get everyone setup with their devices (yes, there are gadgets involved!) and directions. We will also do a staggered start this time so everyone isn't clogging up the control points/checkpoints. So if you want to start early, show up early!

This will also be a Double Point Run if you complete the route and get all the control points.

Another week has arrived! Since we had so much fun doing our Mayfest Mayhem 5k this Saturday we decided you ALL should enjoy the route too. It's basically Sutton Special with a "mayhem modifier!" See the map for details. The good news is that my chalk markings should still "mostly" be there. :-)

The word on the street is that we have a "rare bird" joining us tomorrow. So in honor of her name we're gonna run 2 Hill and Back! If you guys all conquered Doomsday Hill you can come out victorious over our little hills here in Cheney.

We’re helping with the Cheney Lions Club and doing a Mayfest Mayhem 5K on Saturday, May 9th at 7:30am at Sutton Park. I know it's early, but I’m hoping some of you can come run it or help out!
