Hey guys, just want to give a heads up that the Plyo swing is not a leg press. Using it as one could result in injuring yourself or the equipment!!!!

To use a plyo swing, you can:

1. Adjust the foot plate to a 90° angle or slightly higher.

2. Warm up your legs.

3. Jump from the platform, landing with your legs straight, then absorb the force and push off again.

3. Add weight plates to increase mass.

4. Add bands to increase velocity.

The plyo swing is a jumping device that helps build strength and explosive motion. It's different from a leg press machine because you can explode through the motion instead of decelerating at the top.

Happy Saturday Body Forge Friends!! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather. Just a couple quick house keeping things. If you use the free weights, please do your fellow gym members and gym staff a favor and put your weights back. If you use the dumbbells, please remember to put them on the rack when you are done, they can easily be tripped on and someone can get hurt ☹️. Please remember to fob in and not just follow someone in the door. Fobbing in serves multiple purposes for gym staff. So please remember to fob in or scan your app. Lastly, if you have mud on your shoes, please be kind and clean the mud/dirt off or change your shoes before entering the gym. 5000sqft of floor space takes lots of time to keep clean!
