Welcome to @742 Deer Processing in Chesterfield.

Hunters in Chesterfield County now have a place close to home to donate a deer. Drop one off there and the meat feeds families in your own community.

How it works: you bring the deer, and South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry covers the processing and packaging. Every pound, at no cost to you. The venison goes to food banks, shelters, and community agencies in all 46 counties.

Since 2004 we've distributed more than 1.6 million pounds, with help from more than 50 processors.

First Deer! A feeling we all remember! Creed got it done last night! Creeds father called last night and said that he was unsure of the hit quality but knew the doe had been hit at least once. Creed had fired off a few more rounds when the deer had staggered after the first shot. The blood trail initially was promising but rapidly dried up leaving no real chance of locating without a tracker. We showed up and rapidly located the deer in a very thick cutdown only about 70 yds from the corn. Creeds first deer will be memorable! Not only did he shoot his first but also got a drone show!

As we get ready to drop into the busy part of the season I would just like to quickly thank all those who have trusted us with your tracking in past seasons and those who have already called this season! We are often as excited as you to see your deer found! The last 3 years have flown by! We enter season 2026 with 2 pilots, multiple drones,and close contact with the South Carolina Tracking Network dog teams! Let’s make this year bigger than ever!

We want to give a huge shout-out to Air Support!!!

Collin has been supporting us with high-quality drone footage since we started. We feel like aerial photos and videos, and his are some of the best.

But, we feel like you should know that he does more than just marketing footage.

He has a drone equiped with thermal imaging that he's been using to help hunters recover downed deer. If you haven't seen any of his recovery footage, you need to visit his FB. It's pretty amazing.

So, if you need a little help from above to find your trophy, give Collin a jingle.

(BTW, Rex is a little upset that we're prompting Air Support. But, to be honest, he hasn't found a single deer for us yet. So...)

Seeing double… after our primary was damaged in the line of duty, Cooks Drone Works got us up and running on short notice. I enjoyed great service through Robbie and he was nice enough to help me get back flying on a holiday weekend! We went from grounded to flying within 24 hrs of contacting him! Please submit name ideas for the new drone in comments, currently running a little DR Seuss. Thing 1 and Thing 2
