Dominic Lombardi enters Philly Fight Night 7 as the 2026 New Jersey Golden Gloves Champion, earning that title with an impressive run that included multiple dominant victories and a third-round stoppage in the state championship bout. He also represented Team New Jersey at the National Golden Gloves Tournament this spring.

Now, Lombardi brings that momentum to the biggest stage of his amateur career as the Amateur Main Event at Philly Fight Night 7.

Mikel Sherard is coming back to the same city where he’s already proven he belongs. Fresh off his last appearance at the Hard Rock, he’s not stepping in here to “get rounds” — he’s stepping in to make a statement. Sharp, composed, and building momentum, Sherard is the type of fighter who’s starting to understand how to turn experience into control.

Across from him is Simmons — and he’s not showing up to play opponent.

This is the kind of matchup that doesn’t look crazy on paper… until the bell rings.
