Weekend fishing can at times a little bit harder than weekdays…😁
Had a fantastic crew on board today ..
My buddy Pat..Mike and my good friend Coach Jenkins…
Was great catching up and lying to each other and all of that good stuff…
Had minimal bird action today..that means sidescan fishing 100%..
Garmin livescope is absolutely priceless in this style of fishing…
Anglers with a killer touch…a super hot sidescan and livescope and you have a winning formula…
Every time I said “there they are” these guys slayed fish…
It’s a pleasure to watch and makes a Capt look mighty good..

Happy Halloween!
Light tackle fishing at times will make you scratch your head…
And at other times it will make you “high five” yourself..
Had a solid morning of striper fishing…
Took a ride to see what else we could round up and landed on a school of Reds…
The excitement of an angler with a Red hooked up is pretty awesome…
Beautiful rockfish today…
Being on the bottom is and always has been a priority for catching hammers…
We landed a big red and turned around and Mike had one as well..
Double header back to back!!!
Have openings next week…

Capt Mike out today with a boat full of youngsters…
Fresh minds that don’t “know it all” is fantastic..
They are are open minded and ready to learn..
Love seeing young people enjoy the sport!
Some really nice fish were caught..
Our water temp is a bit warmer than last year on this date so the best is yet too come..

An absolutely beautiful day on the Chesapeake today…
Tons of bait and tons of little fish tearing it up…
We found some really nice fish below the smalls and around it…
Some were 30-40 yards trailing the school…
Being in touch with your bait is super important when the fish are tight to bottom…
Skirted baits were definitely the ticket today…
Best part of the trip was when a school of bunker was trapped on the shoreline and fish were crushing…

One thing about guiding…
We get thank you cards from all the gas stations…
There are days that you can run and run and run..
And occasionally there are days it falls right Into your lap…
It seems as though there is an infinite number of small fish and they are under nice birds…
Well yesterday it fell in my lap…

Eastern Shore light tackle charters was founded in 2018 by myself…
➡️My family has a long tradition of working the waters of the Chesapeake….
➡️it’s a dream job being a Guide on the Chesapeake..
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore…
This is my backyard..

➡️My second captain is Mike Gardner… Mike has retired from the Baltimore County fire department after well over 30 years of service and runs the second boat for me… no one likes catching fish more than Mike and he puts 110% effort into every trip…
Here’s how the business works….
➡️You can book a Walkon trip (fish with other walkons).. you can also book a private trip and have the boat to yourself…
The walkon option is extremely popular…you don’t have to get a group together…just come along and enjoy your day..
➡️I have two boats available. Both are Judge 265 Center Consoles…with a max of 12 anglers…
We fish the Mid and Lower Bay of the Chesapeake and even at times into Virginia waters…
This is quality light tackle fishing…
We do not live Line or troll ever…✅
All licenses and gear are provided….
➡️Here’s what you can expect for our fall winter fishery…
We fish all 12 months of the year and the upcoming fall winter is an excellent opportunity for your personal best…
➡️Our migratory bass usually arrive in the next month or so, but before that we will have lots of bird action and quality fish…
The fall pattern is a light Tackle Anglers dream..
Catch catching a 20 to 40 pound striper on medium bass gear is quite the rush…
