Officers assisted with cyclists as they raised money for families of officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Chester Police Officers Sgt. Brian Gill and DSgt. Jon Loprete (retired) made the trip. The ride went from Boston to World Trade Center.

This yearâs Chester PBA quad raffle tickets are in!! $50 per ticket and only 400 being sold. Drawing is 11/12/21 and you do not need to be present to win. Stop by police headquarters at 1 Parker Rd to purchase a ticket!
The 2021 Chester Township PBA Local 315 Fishing Derby will be Saturday, June 5, 8am-11am, at R&R Constructionâs Pond on Parker Road. Bagels, donuts, and coffee provided! Chester Twp and Boro resident children Ages 12 and under are invited to attend and compete for prizes (accompanied by a responsible adult to supervise, of course). There is no sign up for this event. Bait will be provided but you must bring your own fishing pole. All FREE, thanks to a generous donation by R&R Construction and the Duryea Family! We look forward to seeing everyone!

The Chester Police Department held it's 2019 Awards and 2020 Promotional Ceremony at Chubb Park this evening. The ceremony, which was originally scheduled before Covid-19 for spring, is meant to highlight the officers' achievements from 2019 and to congratulate the officers who were promoted back in April, 2020 (see a few posts back for a list of those who were promoted).
We would like to highlight a very coveted award, the Officer of the Year for 2019, which was very deservingly awarded to Ptl. Bradley Ellmann! Congratulations Bradley!

Chester PBA Local #315 is pleased to welcome its newest member, Ptl. Justice Dickerson! As seen above, he was sworn in as a member this past week by delegate Cpl. Nicolas Salamone.
The PBA would also like to congratulate its members who were promoted on April 1, 2020. A ceremony has not (yet) been held, due to COVID-19 health concerns. The following members were promoted to the respective ranks:
Ronald Totams to the rank of LIEUTENANT.
Brian Gill, Mike Henry, and Steve Notte to the rank of SERGEANT.
Ryan Steckel, Nicolas Salamone, Doug Shea, and Ed Robinson to the rank of CORPORAL.
