RVA Warriors 10u

So proud of these ladies for the best weekend of softball we have seen them play all spring!! We were 1 run away from defeating one of the TOP teams in the state! We finished today 2-1, and start again tomorrow morning at 9:30am in Prince George for the Top Gun World Series. 2 more games guaranteed, but they assured us it will be 3 games because they want to win!! I'm incredibly proud of their drive, and things are beginning to click for them! Huge day of hitting, lots of amazing plays in the field, and I don't think we allowed 1 run to score on a passed ball at home plate today. Alex(x2), and Pilar finished as MVPs on the day. 1 more pool game, then bracket play begins around lunch time. Let's go, Warriors!!

We played some good softball today, going 2-1 on the day. Not bad, Warriors! Not bad at all.

Congratulations to Idalia for hitting an absolute BOMB over the FENCE today at the Starz showcase tournament. What an amazing core memory. She pitched a great Game, with 3 additional hits on offense and also earned the game ball, and MVP award.

Special shout out for our other MVPs on the day: Serenity for her pitching, and Pilar earning 2 MVP awards for a home run, and her performance as catcher in our last 2 games back to back. Way to go, ladies! Bracket play tomorrow morning! Good luck Warriors!

Our very 1st Top Gun tournament, taking home the hardware!! Great win ladies!
Next week we are playing NSA tournament in the outer banks!

Very excited to announce 2 of our players from this weekend who made the Top Gun All-stars for their amazing performance, and huge Stat lines!
Harper went 4 for 6 with 1 AB being a HBP, 2 RBIS, 3 RUNS, 4 Stolen bases and a .800 batting average.
Alex went 4 for 5 with 1 AB being a walk, 2 RBIS, 3 RUNS, 8 Stolen bases and a .750 batting average.

We had a great weekend at our 1st Top Gun tournament! Due to the rain we didn't get to finish day 2, but we finished 2nd place as the runner up after they canceled it!
Pilar was our MVP With 1 homerun, 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBIS with multiple plays at home, and 2 throw downs resulting in outs. Great job, Pilar! Great job to the whole Warriors team for their determination to be better each time we hit the field. We are very proud of you!
