One Last Ride.

It’s hard to believe we’re heading into the final tournament of the season.

This season has been about so much more than wins and losses. Behind the scenes, many of these girls have faced challenges that no scoreboard could ever measure. Through difficult personal moments, disappointment, sacrifice, and adversity, they continued to show up—not just for themselves, but for each other.

Along the way, they’ve done more than simply play softball. They’ve grown their softball IQ, learned to think the game at a higher level, sharpened their skills, and developed into stronger, more complete athletes. They’ve learned to trust one another, adapt to different situations, and understand that success isn’t measured by individual statistics—it’s built through preparation, resilience, and playing for the team.

Being part of something bigger than yourself means celebrating others’ successes, embracing every role, and putting the team’s goals ahead of your own. That mindset is what makes great teammates, and ultimately, great athletes.

As we head to Chattanooga for one final tournament together, we’re proud of the young women these players have become. No matter what happens this weekend, they’ve already accomplished something special. They’ve grown as athletes, gained confidence in themselves, and built friendships and memories that will last long after the final out.

Now it’s time for one last opportunity to play the game they love—together.

Let’s finish the season the way we’ve played it—with grit, heart, confidence, and an unwavering commitment to one another.

Not only did the girls play hard in 90+ degree heat, three of our players earned MVP pins, given out by the umpires. The girls were given numerous compliments about their good sportsmanship and level of play, we are so proud of them!

Ava Knutson (2028) Leads Midwest Speed Gold Kraml 16U Past Nebraska Force Gold. Ava Knutson (2028) struck out 10 batters as the righty led Midwest Speed Gold Kraml 16U past the Force, 4-0 on Sunday at Parkview Softball Complex. Knutson (2028) gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings while walking two.
Midwest Speed Gold Kraml 16U jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Callie Ricker (2027) drew a walk, scoring one run, and Olivia Hanson (2027) singled, scoring two runs.
Hanson (2027) led Midwest Speed Gold Kraml 16U with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Charli Zachmann (2027), Jillian Grott (2027), Lilly Anderson (2027), and Hanson (2027) each collected one hit for Midwest Speed Gold Kraml 16U. Midwest Speed Gold Kraml 16U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Alexis Houg (2027) made the most plays with 10.

The championship game is at 12:30pm!

Quinn Reed hit a massive *grand slam* during our second game in the Tier 2 bracket game today vs Catalyst. What a weekend in Lakeville, the girls scored a total of 36 runs, had 33 RBIs and Ava Knutson had 42 strikeouts!

📍 Rapid City, SD

We played the Minnesota A’s this morning, and went toe-to-toe until they hit a three-run-HR in the fifth inning, ultimately defeating us 3-6.
We then played MN Force, earning a 9-2 victory! We had some excellent defensive plays and our bats were on fire! Bracket play begins tomorrow AM, more to come on our next games..

We played well, but lost to MN Royals 16u yesterday evening, but here’s a little recap; Alexis Houg hit a solo HR (photo to come later this AM)!
