Monday Motivation 📣

Here’s a little story from The War of Art by Steven Pressfield.

I was out playing golf, facing a crazy strong wind off to the left. I aimed my shot thinking I had it figured out 30 yards into the wind. But no luck. The ball flew sideways, bounced off the green, and landed in the rough.

I looked at the caddie and said, “Did you see that wind just steal my shot?” ⛳🍃

He just laughed and said, “Well, you gotta play the wind now, don’t you?”

That’s the thing, it’s not about blaming the wind, bad luck, or life’s unfair breaks. It’s about how you play the hand you’re dealt.
Life throws curveballs. It can knock you down with unexpected bills, canceled plans, or missed chances. But it doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you.

The real power comes when you stop fighting the wind and learn to work with it, adjust your aim, stay steady, and keep swinging. Because every now and then, the wind’s gonna be at your back, too.

Show up. Adapt. Keep pushing.

Monday Motivation 📣

“If it’s going to be, then it’s up to me.”

I love this quote because it comes packed with a call to action. It’s like the universe is asking you:

- Are you ready to take responsibility?
- Are you going to show up and put in the work?
- Are you all in, or are you holding back?
- Can I count on you?

Each one of us has a personal responsibility to embrace, whether we’re parents, coworkers, or teammates.

In times of adversity, how do you show up? Are you the one who raises their hand to lead, or do you prefer to sit back and see what others do first?

Take a moment to reflect. When you notice something that needs to be done, whether it’s picking up trash, stepping up at work, or lending a hand to someone in need, don’t assume someone else will take care of it.

Instead, ask yourself: If not me, then who?

This mindset often sets apart those who make life happen for them instead of to them.

So, when an opportunity comes your way today, will you step up to the occasion? Will you be the person who makes a difference?
