-It looks like a teammate who shows up to a sold out race just to cheer the rest of you on (and then ended up getting to run with us last minute!) like Bob Vickers

-It looks like teammates surrounding you and pushing you forward to achieve the new PR you’ve been working hard for (Zach Wood Zack Cromie kaistrides & Jeremiah)

-It looks like teaming up to get the miles in, no matter the pace (thank you, David!). And looks like waiting at the finish line for your teammates to cheer them in, knowing the effort it took them to get that race done 👏🏻👏🏻

This month marks one year since I officially started RERC. 🩵 I can’t believe it’s already been a year and I’m so excited for many more runs and walks to come ✨🫶🏻

When I started the club, I doubted that anyone would care or show up consistently. It was a challenge for me to continue putting myself out there each week, worrying no one else would come. But I knew wanted somewhere in our small community for people to gather, support one another, and have fun moving together. Something in me kept saying “if you want this group, there’s got to be others who do too.” So I kept going, even when it felt scary, to try and make this a real thing.

I never imagined that a year in we would have such a solid group of members who have become not only a community to support each other in our fitness goals, but in real life too. They have become some of my favorite people, my friends, and the reason I keep getting out there even on days it feels hard. I am so grateful for every single member who shows up regularly, those who pop in once in a while, and anyone who has ever shown us support and helped get our name out there! RERC would not exist without all of you and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us 👏🏻 🩵 Cheers to one year! 🍻 🏃‍♀️ ✨
