Good luck to all of our competitors today!! Go kick butt, make good decisions, remember your stuff, listen to your coachesā¦ and PLEASE donāt make Mom have a heart attack. š
Seriously though, thereās something pretty awesome about watching these kids walk onto a competition mat knowing theyāre nervous, excited, maybe a little terrifiedā¦ and doing it anyway.
Thatās what I love about martial arts.
Itās not just about trophies.
Itās watching a shy little kid become confident.
Watching a kid who used to quit when things got hard learn to keep going.
Watching them learn how to win without being a jerkā¦ and lose without falling apart. š
And then one day you look up and realizeā¦
WAIT. WHEN DID THIS KID GET SO BIG?! š
Maybe someday that will be your kid standing on that mat. ā¤ļøš„
Until then, you can follow along and watch us turn these tiny humans into slightly taller, more confident humans who occasionally leave sweaty uniforms in places they absolutely should not. š

**August 29th at 9:00 AM is a meeting you do NOT want to miss.**
Weāre talking travel, tournaments, advanced training, fundraising, and some pretty big opportunities ahead.
Current Competition Team members: **you need to be there.**
Potential competitors: **this is your chance to see whatās coming and how to get involved.**
The first fundraiser is already a GO, and weāre working to make competing and traveling more affordable for our families.
