The Picklr Cheyenne

Last year’s Paddle on the Plains was such a great event, and we’re bringing it back for another round 🐶

Good pickleball, great people, and a pretty awesome cause. We’re coming together to support the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, with plenty of fun happening off the courts, too.

We’re talking raffles, food, b**r, and yes… WIENER DOG RACES. 🐾

PADDLE ON THE PLAINS
November 13–14

Whether you’re coming to compete or just enjoy the festivities, we’d love to see you out supporting a great cause.

What if your part-time job was at your favorite place to play?

We’re looking for someone who loves the people, the game, and the community that comes with pickleball to join our team at Picklr Cheyenne.

If you’re the kind of person who knows everyone at open play, enjoys making new people feel welcome, and takes pride in a job well done, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re hiring a Part-Time Front Desk Associate to help keep our club running smoothly and make sure every person who walks through our doors has a great experience.

A few things to know:

* 12-18 hours per week
* Weekday morning availability (6 AM–12 PM) required
* Weekend availability required, with shifts between 6 AM and 9 PM
* Must be dependable, organized, comfortable with technology, and willing to help keep the club clean and welcoming
* Pickleball experience is a bonus, but not required

Sound like your kind of place?

Send your resume to [email protected] or stop by the front desk to pick up an application.

Know someone who would fit right in? Send this their way.

Meet Coach Jane Smith at Picklr Cheyenne.

Jane has been playing pickleball for eight years, competing across the country and earning some pretty impressive hardware along the way, including a gold medal at the Wyoming Senior Olympics and a bronze medal at the Pickleball World Championships in Dallas. She’s headed back to Worlds this fall, too.

But as much as Jane loves competing, she loves helping other players improve just as much. She’s all about personalized drills, building confidence, and making the learning process fun.

Want to get on the court with Jane?

Catch her teaching Saturdays from 10 AM–12 PM and Tuesdays from 5:30–7:30 PM. She also teaches Pickleball 101 every Saturday at 9 AM for anyone brand new to the game.

Next time you see Jane around the club, say hi. She’s a great person to have in your pickleball corner.

📣 Ready kids? November 1st is the kick off of our Fall Youth Academy.

The youth academy is one of our favorite programs at Picklr Cheyenne, and we like to think the kids agree 💚

Every Sunday from 11/1-11-22 from 3:30-5:30.

We also want to thank Wyoming Pickleball Association for sponsoring 💥

Learn more about the program and get the kids registered on the Picklr app, or just give the front desk a call.

October Member of the Month: Matthew Wilkes

From seven years of table tennis to finding his place on the pickleball court, Matt has been part of our Picklr community for about a year and a half.

He loves the competition and the challenge of getting better, but what keeps him coming back is the people. In fact, one of his favorite memories is his very first day at the club, when fellow players and staff welcomed him and helped him learn the game.

Outside the courts, Matt enjoys photography, filmmaking, and music production.

We’re lucky to have Matt as part of our community. He brings great energy to the club, and we love seeing him grow alongside the people he plays with.

Help us congratulate Matt on Member of the Month 💚

A little reminder that learning never stops, and we’re here to help you keep growing 🌱

Our coaches love sharing their knowledge to help you build confidence, improve your game, and most importantly: enjoy the journey.

Picklr members get 4 FREE clinics every month, but everyone is able to join, member or not.

There’s always something new to learn, and we’d love to be part of it. 💚
