Not many people can be a part of our CBL Family and not know the Arias family. They are all involved in some manner and positively impact the league in so many ways.

It is my honor to share their amazing news!! It should come as no surprise that Brody has committed to Southwestern College to continue his love of the game. He has always had a drive, obvious natual talent, an unstoppable chase for the game and unwavering support from his family. Combinations like this breed nothing but success and I personally will miss his face but cannot wait to see what he does next!!

In all the talk in youth sports about the adults who negatively impact the experience, here's to the good ones who elevate it.

Here's to the ones who donate a couple extra dollars to the team fees in case another parent is struggling to pay theirs.

Here's to the ones who reach out to you after a game to show their support to a fellow team parent after their athlete had a tough one out there... because they remember how it felt when it was their kid last week.

Here’s to the ones who notice that a kid doesn't have someone in the stands... and make sure they know they do now.

Here’s to the ones who make room on the bleachers for the new family... because they don't want them to think twice about whether or not they'll be welcomed.

Here’s to the ones who protect the joy of the experience for players and their parents in the stands... but also know how important it is to create a safe space for support when the tough parts of the game show up.

And to the ones who aren't perfect … but keep trying to be better for the kids watching from the field?

Here's to you, too.

Being a good one is within all of us.
May we keep aiming to get there.
