In the light of winning the Grand Slam T10 tournament, Cricket Club at UIC will be making team apparel this year. We have designed a set of team jerseys, trousers, jacket and a cap that will cost around $70. This is an approximate price right now and it will be lowered depending on the number of orders we place so it can be lowered to potentially $60. Yet another exciting news for the cricket community at UIC!!! Cricket Club at UIC will host Badger Cricket Club(UW Madison) and Northwestern Wildcats Club Cricket for a friendly Tri-Series. The tournament will take place at the MAC Gym, Student Recreation Facility, on Sunday (March 6th, 2022).

Cricket Club goes through the quarter final of Grand Slam T10 with an impressive and well rounded team performance! An excellent show of bowling and fielding restricted the opponents to a low score. Players were up for the big challenge with an aggressive performance from the whole team that made sure the opponents were always on the back foot. The focus now shifts on to the semifinals!

Cricket Club at UIC finishes strong with four consecutive wins with huge margins placing them at the 4th place of the points table after the league stage. Once again, top performances from Romeil in both the games, joining him, the explosive, Shail and Nihal made them look like pieces of cake for the team. Excellent team spirit 🔥 🔥 🔥 🎉🎉

Cricket Club at UIC wins 2 games in the Grand Slam T10 tournament 🔥 🔥 🔥 🎉🎉

Players were ready to avenge the losses in the first 2 games of the tournament and boy they delivered! Excellent team performances in both games led to 2 crucial wins in the tournament, setting up for the final league games on February 12th which will decide playoffs qualification. Both the games had a nail-biting finish in the last overs with top performances from Romeil in both the games with bat and ball.
