Biggest boat vs smallest boat on the race course for the Chicago Yacht Club Offshore Women’s Challenge!

24 hours after start in the same place. Unfortunately while in starting sequence the main dropped a couple of feet. After scrambling and trying to remedy, it was determined that the main headboard car was stuck on lock, had to cut had lashing and trigger line to bring sail down. So we decided we couldn’t continue. Back at harbor determined the lashing from the headboard car to head ring had failed.
Motoring up to island, refueling and looking for a good weather wind to continue to Chicago.
