This week’s Nike Men’s honors were earned by Belmont Bruins while Cleveland State Tennis took home the Nike Women’s Singles Player of the Week award, and Chicago State Tennis earned the Nike Women’s Double Team of the Week award!

Hugo Hidalgo and Pedro Alverez are undefeated this weekend with Doubles and Singles wins over Bellermaine and UIC. The duo will take on Illinois in the Red Draw finals of the Redbird Invite GO COUGARS!!!!

Congratulations to the Men’s Tennis team who earned a perfect multi year APR score along with earning a perfect single year APR score representing the 2018-19 academic year.

8️⃣ Katarina Drazic – Led the team with 18 singles wins and 17 doubles wins. Won 55% of all her matches. Finished 1st team All WAC Doubles with Diana Borodina and earned a spot on the All WAC tournament team for Singles. She also earned WAC doubles team of the week with Borodina.

9️⃣ Women’s Tennis recorded a team of GPA 3.43 for 2018-19. Recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as an All-Academic Team for 2018-19. This is the 5th time the team has been recognized in 9 years. Six of the eight team members achieved over a 3.0 GPA.

🔟 Gonzalo Martinez – Led the team with 22 singles wins. Tied for the team lead with 18 Doubles wins. Won 56% of all his matches. Finished 2nd team All WAC
Felix Savard – Achieved 31 combined wins for singles and doubles. Clinched team victories with singles wins over UIC, North Dakota, and Seattle.

Drazic Wins Twice in Singles for CSU Women’s Tennis at Cougar Invite Sophomore Katarina Drazic captured a pair of singles wins as the Chicago State women's tennis team hosted its annual Cougar Invitational on Saturday at the CSU Tennis Courts.

Women’s Tennis Hosts CSU Cougar Invite to Begin 2018-19 Slate Chicago State women's tennis begins its 2018-19 slate tomorrow with the annual CSU Cougar Invitational that will take place at the CSU Tennis Courts beginning tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.

Women’s Tennis Signs Three Student-Athletes to 2018 Class Chicago State University women's tennis head coach Jack Barton has announced today his 2018 signing class that will make their way onto campus in the next couple of weeks to prepare for the 2018-19 season.
