Client’s brand new Cervelo arrived fairly broken down for shipping (with hydraulic disc brakes (beyond my level of expertise)). I did the rough build up for her, now we’re going to do a rough fitting before sending the bike out to .nap_ to finalize the build and then we’ll finalize the fit with . Sometimes doing something exactly right comes in a multi-stage process but in the end it will be what’s best for her.
This fit was on a new bike for a client who has never owned a tri specific bike. She had some minor limitations from a injury but because it was a new position for her and because she’ll be on the trainer through the winter, the position is very non-aggressive. Once her race season starts and she’s able to get outside, we’ll have the flexibility to adjust her setup to something more “pro” as I like to say. Happy training, Emily!
This is the most typical conversation I have with clients. While I deal with a number of high performance athletes, most people just want to be able to ride in comfort and as a Retul certified bike fitter, I'm in the best position to give that opportunity to them.
