Day 15: Red, White, and Blue Day! 🇺🇸 For our final day at camp we celebrated the 4th of July early! We all wore our best red, white, and blue colors, participated in a really fun scavenger hunt inside and outside of the building, played Flippin' Burgers, Capture the Flag, and more! Max, our camp mascot, came to visit us today in his finest patriotic bandana! 🐕 We would like to give a big thank you shout-out to all of our camp staff and CITs for all of their hard work, going above and beyond, making camp so much fun all while keeping the campers happy and safe. We couldn't have done it without them: Colleen, Erin, David, Maya, Jameson, Oliver, Ellie, and Filip. ⭐️😎❤️🤗👍

Day 14: Camping at Camp Day! We started the day making tents & forts and playing flashlight tag! ⛺️🔦 After that, we designed our own camp bandanas to wear and then played Hungry-Hungry-Bears and other camping games! Have you ever tried a S'mOREO? We made our own today using Oreos instead of graham crackers! Of course we added the delicious chocolate and marshmallows! 😋 No campfire was needed, we used the hot sun to melt the chocolate! 🍫 (It only took a few seconds!) What a great day...camping at camp! 🏕⛺️😎🌲🌳🐻🦉

Day 13: Christmas in June Day! Merry (almost) Christmas! 🎄 It's June 25th... 6 months until Christmas Day! We love Christmas SO much that we celebrate it at summer camp every year! 😎🎅 We made our annual favorite macaroni ornaments, played minute-to-win-it games, and snowball catch verses the CITs... all while singing our favorite Christmas carols! 🎶🎤 We later played Put & Take (similar to the White Elephant game) with presents from Santa! 🎁 Oh what fun we had celebrating together! 😄❄️☃️🤩

Day 12: Disney-Pixar-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Day! We made an adorable Eeyore craft, played Overturned Turtle 🐢, and later played some frozen "Frozen" potato with big ice blocks to keep us cooooool! 🧊 We were treated to some delicious soda floats today! And camper Luna shared some fantastic donut holes with the campers and staff! Thank you to Luna and her family! ❤️ 😋😊

Day 11: GIANT Jurassic Day! It was a scorcher outside today, so we had to adjust a lot of our activities to the air conditioning. Not many pictures today. 😕 The kids played some ball outside 1st thing in the morning for a little bit, then they went inside and played some giant checkers, giant card games, and giant Connect Four. We made a dino craft with special dabber paints, and built dinosaur lairs out of Legos! 🦕🦖 Today we celebrated Jackson's birthday and he brought some delicious treats for all of his fellow campers to enjoy! 🍪 Thank you to Jackson and his family! A GIANT Happy Birthday to Jackson! 🎉 We ended the hot day watching a great dinosaur movie in the air conditioning! Hopefully we have some relief with the weather tomorrow. 🥵
