Warms my heart thinking of all those who got into martial arts because of Bruce Lee, still idolize him, still think he was unbeatable and yet claim “WiNg cHuN iS uSLeSs!” all while knowing the only formal art Lee ever trained in for any significant length of time was Wing Chun and 99% of what he did was first hand Wing Chun.
Face it, kids...
If it weren’t for Wing Chun, there wouldn’t even have been a Bruce Lee for you to set you on the path you’re on now.
So, I’d say, Wing Chun has played one of the largest if not the largest roles in exposing Martial Arts to the Western world.
