Operation run with every run club in Chicago continues with lucky number 13, the Portage Pacers.

This is an awesome neighborhood based run group. Everyone was so super friendly and I definitely want to hang out with them again.

Fun fact, Saturday evening I took the kids to the portage park trunk or treat at their invitation!

Come with me to the Champions Reception for the Chicago Marathon.

I’m grateful that I was invited for the 2nd year in a row and got to spend time with cool people in the running industry.

But I’m most excited that I got to celebrate Winter, the Non-binary champion. They are a true delight to be around and maybe one of these days I’ll finally convince them to run trails.

Chicago marathon runners!

Your favorite oatmeal cream pie dealer will be at Mile 21, on your right, with just the treat you need to make that final push to the finish line.

We will have a CUSS zone set up for you to tell your favorite swear word!

Proud of you all so much!

Operation run with every run club in Chicago continued with Club #12, the hug the bear run club. Based out of Runner’s Republic .

I was the only one there. I confirmed no cancellations on social, it’s listed on their website and even posted on the door of the store.

No worries, I had a good time running somewhere different.

Attention marathon runners!

CUSS will be set up at mile 21 just past the bridge at Canal & Cermak. We'll be on your right!

We'll have oatmeal cream pies and plenty of high fives to give. Maybe some hugs too!

DM us your bib so we can track you and cheer you on!

Not running, come join us! This is a quieter spot on the course and could use some extra cheering!

This is Roy and he is a 90 year old trail and ultra runner.

He’s been coming to my races for a couple years now and he’s like the energizer bunny. Just keeps going. No dilly dallying at the aid station. No sitting down. Just continuous movement.

I aspire to be 90 and still grinding and running like him.

Come hang out with Roy on the trails at Fancy Nonsense this year. You will be inspired. guaranteed.
