My Dearest Body,
You are my most trusted friend.
Eyes, you allow me to see the beauty in the everyday.
Legs, you carry me around this beautiful earth and make me feel grounded with every stride.
Hands, without you I couldn't embrace the people I love, nor color, nor feel the softness of chocolate chip cookies.
Heart, you beat so that I may experience life, and feel you flutter when I first realized I loved him.
THANK YOU. THANK YOU THANK YOU.
There are a million other things I could thank you for.
And I vow to do everything in my power to keep you safe, happy, and healthy so that our soul can live out this once-in-a-lifetime human experience. I know I’m not perfect and haven't always treated you with the utmost respect you deserve, but I am learning how to love you more deeply every single day.

Signs of Progress that AREN'T Associated with the scale...
⚡️ More energy
🤩 Improved mood & feeling happier
💪 Stronger body
🏃♀️Getting more steps in daily
💃 Clothes fit better
👗 Lost Inches
💤 Better Sleep
🥰 Improved self image
🥦 Eating healthier
😎 Takes a risk to talk to a guy because you’re more confident
🧖♀️ Are staying consistent with your routine and are loving the “me time”
The scale is JUST another data point... It’s not the end all be all of your progress, and it ABSOLUTELY does not define your worth.
🥰 Improved self-imagegress examples MAY be even more important than the scale because I really value sustainability in my routines, mood, and confidence in myself.
When you take care of your inner world first, that’s when the weight will come off because you’re happier and focusing on your relationship with yourself above all else🥰

How you speak to yourself MATTERS.
But FIRST, we must acknowledge that how you speak to yourself has everything to do with how you view yourself...
When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
Do you tend to point out your imperfections before your beauty?
Do you see your body as,
“Too fat”
“Should be skinner”
Instead of viewing your body as your most trusted friend that LITERALLY keeps you alive every single day?
I know you’re your own worst critic, we all are. But realize that these negative thought patterns are just that- PATTERNS.
They aren’t the truth about who you really are.
Once I realized that I didn’t have to listen to my brain when it told me I wasn’t skinny enough or gained too much weight, my whole life changed. 🌤
Because I came back to ME. To myself. To who I really am...
- A soul living a human experience in a human body -
And this love feels so good. It feels so much better talking to myself as a best friend instead of being so hyper critical of “flaws” that are made by the white man and his definition of a woman’s beauty.
SHHEESSSH if that doesn't make you mad!!!
Through creating mindfulness throughout the day and having routines that ground you and light you up to help you come back to the TRUTH of who you are (abundant, full of love, infinite potential), you can change these negative thought patterns about yourself.
This is one of the main things I help my clients with through consistency and more intentionality in their fitness, nutrition, and mindset.

Do you feel like you do everything right, yet you're not seeing the results you want?
🤔You eat pretty healthy.
🤔You workout regularly.
🤔You enjoy sweets and wine every once in a while but it doesn’t seem to bother your progress too much.
This was me too. I really loved movement and enjoyed eating healthy!
But I wasn't getting that change in body composition to look more toned (ps... it’s ok to have body goals!)
I also wasn't really sure how many calories I should eat... It was a constant guessing game.
But then I learned about macros, and it was like something instantly clicked!
Once I adopted a science-based approach to eating, I became more aware of my eating habits, wasn’t guessing how much I should be eating to tone up, and found the more structure I had with my food choices the more food freedom became a reality for me. Believe me- I still eat whatever I want!!

This isn’t on accident. These types of women are constantly working on all areas of their lives.

👉🏻 they know what other people think of them is none of their business
👉🏼they have morning and evening routines that overflow their cup
👉🏿they listen to their needs and communicate them
👉🏾 they honor their emotions but also don’t allow them to run the show
👉🏽they prioritize their health even if it looks different everyday
You can have this shine too. You already do. You have to believe it and live it.
