It was great to have at AST for a "Jumpstart with Jackie" segment on Thursday! She interviewed and , got put through a sample of an AST small group workout, and got to meet some of our clients. It was a super fun morning, and you can find a link to the whole segment in our bio!

The obligatory b***y shot pose for the 'Gram after the final workout of this round of Project Peach 🍑, our long-running glute training specialty camp.

For the final workout, coach was a good enough sport to join in on doing the workout with the rest of the group, and stepped in to run the session. Ken thought he would be allowed to pick his own weights.

Spoiler alert: he was not.

Lots of trash talking. A good bit of swearing. Probably some interesting attempts to get down to and up from the toilet now that we're almost 24 hours later 💀

We wanted to do something different instead of the usual generic January sales post. From now until January 20, the proceeds from all ebook sales on the AST website (www.AllStrengthTraining.com/store) will go directly to .

Second City is where we adopted an unbelievably special dog, Victor, in 2021. Victor was, at the time, a 7-month old tripod with a heart condition that had a very low survival rate past 3 years old. When we first put in our application, there were nearly half a dozen other applicants in front of us, so we didn't think we had much of a chance. But somehow or another, we ended up getting a call from Second City that he was still adoptable, and before you know it he had found his way into our home to form "The Trio" with our other pits, Mabel and Knox.

Unfortunately, Victor's heart condition ultimately won out and we lost him on Christmas Day, 2023. But we are beyond grateful for the time that we did get with him, and want to pay that forward by supporting the shelter that he came from.

In addition to all proceeds from our ebook sales benefitting Second City, we wanted to also provide a thank you to those of you who support your local shelters and animal rescues - if you have adopted from a shelter in the last 12 months, simply send us a direct message with info about your pet (their name, the shelter they came from, and, if you'd be so kind, maybe a photo or 20?), and we'll send you a custom discount code that will let you download all 6 of our ebooks at no cost to you. It doesn't matter if it's a dog, a cat, or any other animal.

We know that there are many shelters out there that are deserving of your support and too many animals without a home, so we'd like to do what we can to extend our thanks for supporting your local rescue and opening up your home to an animal in need.

And if you're currently considering adopting a dog, we invite you to visit - they have some amazing pups just waiting to come home with you!

Rumor has it one of our members is convinced that our superhero holiday display on the front desk represents each of the coaching team, and it has caused much debate about which superhero represents which coach.

So, who is who?

It's the start of a new month, so it's time to spotlight another AST member! Our November Member of the Month goes to Thomas Britton, nominated by coach .beast.fitness:

"Thom has been a consistent and hardworking member of our gym, always showing up with a positive attitude and a strong dedication to improving his overall fitness. His work ethic is truly commendable, and his commitment to his personal goals is evident in the strides he's making each week especially moving up from Dynamic Duo to Fantastic Four.

One of the things that makes Thom stand out is his ability to uplift and encourage others. Thom consistently shows support to those around him, creating a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for everyone. His energy and positive attitude is always at 100% which just reflects how great of person Thom is both inside and outside the gym.

In addition to his great attitude and support for others, Thom has been focused on learning and growing, pushing his limits and making impressive progress. His journey is a testament to what can be achieved through persistence, determination, and a willingness to learn. Thom, thank you for being a shining example of what hard work and a positive mindset can accomplish. Your energy, dedication, and support of others are what makes our gym community special. Congratulations, and keep up the great work!"

We almost let the month slip away without recognizing our AST Member of the Month!

This month we have Charles Rushing, nominated by coach :

"I'm proud to announce that October's member of the month here at AST is Charles Rushing. Charles has been a member since May of 2024 and has made such a huge impact in such a short amount of time. He shows up with a great attitude everyday ready to tackle whatever challenges we throw at him. When others are training with Charles, he definitely serves as a boost of motivation to make sure everyone is giving their 100% effort.

Charles has been on his journey for a while now and has been a part of many different gyms, but is proud to be a part of AST on this phase of his journey. He's built so much strength already and believes in our process. It may not always feel great or look perfect, but Charles is here to push himself and everyone around himself. Great work Charles and keep up the great work!"
