Last Fall, Pommes Frites raced in the St. Joe, MI to Chicago regatta. With barely any wind at times, it took 11 hours and 40 minutes to finish about 55 nautical miles! Many boats retired, but we kept on keepin’ on’. A chickadee even joined us in the middle of the lake to nibble on some insects.

The Pommes Frites crew had Race Committee duty at the end of August. What a gorgeous and fun end of summer evening. There were boats of all sizes, a broaching check-in, exciting starts, and an at-least 15 minute “late check-in” by Bud!
