Are we having fun yet? 🟪
This is one of the templates that Social Content Club members received as part of their template drop this morning.
If you could change the words on the building to your current mantra, what would it say?

We’ve all had that moment where we’ve been checking out our competition, or another beauty pro…
And their website says “©️2016.” 😏
But in all seriousness, anything clients see should be up to date and correct. Some potential clients may wonder if you’re still in business or actively taking clients if they see any dated info.
Plus, a single copyright notice on your website will serve to inform the public that your photos, blog posts, and anything else on your website are your intellectual property.
Drop a “👩💻” in the comments if this tip helped.

You are not alone -
Engagement is terri-bad for a lot of reasons across all of Instagram.
More accounts being created every day mean a bigger crowd to compete with.
Favored content like Reels & Lives mean less eyes on more traditional content like posts and Stories.
BUT just because this is the new “reality” on Instagram, doesn’t mean that you should stop posting to your feed.
Clients and interested parties will still make their decision to follow or base your “legit-ness” on your bio and feed.
Your most-engaged audience members will still see your feed posts & stories regularly.
Instagram is a fickle beast, and what is true today will likely change in a matter of months or weeks. Through social listening, it’s clear that Instagram is hearing the feedback and frustration that many brands & business owners are expressing.
Stay the course, keep fighting the good fight, and I foresee a change coming to IG in 2022 that will make it more palatable for beauty business owners and the results they seek.

All together now! 🎶
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you find yourself saying some of the same things over and over again?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Take your frequently asked questions and answer them in your stories - turn those stories into a highlight so prospective clients can get the answers they want before they book.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First-time client confusion around pricing and their service experience is a huge obstacle to converting social media followers into clients in your salon.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The more questions you can answer for them - before they even ask - the better.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your social profiles & website should answer the biggest questions first like - where is the salon, what's the vibe, will I like my stylist, how much will it cost?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And if you get the same questions again and again, it's time to make that answer easier to find. Maybe devote an entire post to answering it?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What is the number 1 question you get from clients and how do you plan to answer it? 💬

I'm sure you know that...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

the next 6 weeks are going to be busy. 🎃🎄🕎🎅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How can you exercise a little self-care in your beauty business this holiday season?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well, it's going to be about enjoying the small moments you can find to stay energized yet low-stress.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These are my favorite ideas for getting through another holiday season from my retail management days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
(Fun Fact: I used to make a manager's break lounge every holiday with low light, soothing music, a little zen fountain, and coloring books. It was always a hit.) And just because it's holiday time, doesn't mean you have to play holiday music. Don't @ me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

New Year, same song? ⏰
While it is convenient to mark the passing of a new page on the calendar with an assessment of where we are and where we want to be...
Why wait?
Social media and email marketing should directly serve your business goals. And if you're just going through the motions, how does it move the needle? (Spoiler alert - it doesn't.)
Start with the goal. Keep it simple, then form the plan around meeting that goal.
Your daily tasks and posts will be SO MUCH EASIER to make and choose once you know exactly where you want to go.
New Year's resolutions are famously forgotten come February, and your business journey is too important to whisper like a wish at midnight.
Set the goal, move the needle. Begin 2022 already well on your way toward your next level. I'll drink to that. 🥂
