Strikes hold a lot of power in social movements. We're glad to see these athletes standing up for injustice and using their platform to stand in solidarity.

Today is International Non-Binary peoples day! We wish to remind people that not everyone on our team is a woman and to please not use gendered language when referring to us as a whole. For example, "good job, ladies!" and "we love watching you girls skate!" are lovely compliments, but do not include all the identities on our team. Instead try, "Y'all are amazing skaters!" or "Can't wait to see you folks on the track again!" These are just a few easy ways to alter our language that create a more welcoming environment for our friends who exist outside the gender binary. πŸ’›πŸ€πŸ’œπŸ–€

Today is International Non-Binary People's Day.

Non-binary is a spectrum of gender identities that are not exclusively masculine or feminine. At ECU we love when everyone feels included. Here are 5 ways to be gender inclusive with language.

Thank you Atlanta Roller Derby for this open letter. Every single person in the derby community should read this and start analyzing their own leagues policies and start to takes steps towards making derby an anti-racist space.

We think that WFTDA can do more to support Black skaters. In this open letter, we share our ideas for where to start. WFTDA, we want you to get into the weeds with us. Help us fight for racial justice in roller derby. https://tinyurl.com/ybpb7j7g
