YES! It’s really happening….And NO, I am not planning to do another one. One Shot.
DMX Dance Company
DMX Dance Company provides a premium dance experience to learn the black cultural phenomenon, k
I often hear it said that opportunities weren't made available....so here's an opportunity. I haven't made myself available for regularly scheduled teaching for two years....but I am doing a special 3-month Dance Doctor Lab - Men's Intensive to help a group of Men to develop their dance the new Standard for the Cool & Smooth Experience!
This ain't just about Moves! This is about laying the Foundation for a Dance that is not only timeless, but a Dance that sets you apart and breaths confidence into your expression and connections on the dance floor! We will be meeting weekly for the next 3 months!
Please do not get involved, if you cannot make the commitment! This ain't Turn Camp or Combination Central! This is about learning how to be confident decision-makers who impact the dance floor!
A Lady from Ohio once said, "Ain't Nothin' Like Dancing with A MAK3/X-Factor Man"!!! Are you ready to be one of those Men? One of the Men who shifts the energy in the room....
Be advised...The re are limited spots, as I want this to be personal & intentional. BUT....there is also a minimum. If enough people are not interested....the opportunity will just fade away.
Are you ready??? Send me an inbox message, Reach out on the DMX Dance Company Site after registering, or Send me an email at [email protected].
Throwback release 🎶
Back when the goal was simple.
Good music, good people, and a reason to dance.
Still the same spirit today.
The following request is for those who have created a profile on the DMX site....But the message is for Everyone who supports & visits our page....
Good Morning Good People,
I need your help if you are an Android Cell Phone User!!!
We are testing our new App to provide more efficient mobile access to our members!
If you are willing to be a Tester for the App, please send me a message so that I can add you to the List. There are limited spots for this. Also, I need you to actually use the App for the next couple of weeks, You do not have to go crazy, but I do need you to access it every day, because the testing is monitored by Google to make sure that we are actually testing.
We are super excited about this App, because it is not a third-party App that is actually owned by another company, and we're just putting our name on it. These Apps are directly owned & operated by a Black American-owned Company doing Business!!! This is Black American Dollars & Black American Economics operating and pushing Black American Culture forward!!! This is AUTHENTICITY in action, and we appreciate you supporting and being a part of building this forward!!!
As we move forward, all of our members will not be Black Americans....and that is okay. It shows not only diversity, but it shows the value of maintaining the history of Black American history to everyone who has the courage to embrace and appreciate it without whitewashing or removing the original face of the experience!
Most people will never know what it has taken to build this company, the work that has been required to build this site...with a learning platform & a social network, or the commitment to hold it all together. GOD IS GOOD!!! And I am grateful!!!
YES!!! Iphone Users....There is also an IOS App that is projected to be live next week! We do not need testers for that one, as far as I know.
Sincerely,
DMX Dance Company
It Ain't just One Person That Made This Possible. A Bunch Of People Believed Enough To Pick Up A Brick And Place It Where It Needed To Be!
“Stealing a beat” still creates a lot of confusion.
A lot of people hear the phrase and immediately assume something else.
But many times, it’s simply a dancer making an adjustment, resetting their basics, responding to the music, or creating space to stay flexible instead of rigid.
Just another small piece from a larger DMX Dance Company conversation.
Sometimes the music is unfamiliar.
Sometimes it’s faster than what you’re comfortable with.
Sometimes you’re standing there trying to figure out how you’re supposed to move to it at all.
One option isn’t to force more movement.
One option is to simplify, settle in, slow the dance down a little, and give yourself space to actually listen to what the music is asking for.
That changes the experience completely.

The dance is one thing.
But hearing how people experienced the journey themselves?
That part matters too.
Over the years, a lot of people have passed through DMX, MAK 3, workshops, events, classes, late-night conversations, all of it.
Some stayed active. Some got busy with life. Some moved away. But every now and then people share something that reminds us why this community matters in the first place.
Over the next few weeks, we’re gonna start reaching out and collecting more stories and experiences from people along the way.
If you’ve got one to share, we’d love to hear it.
Forgot to share this one over here 🎶
A lot of the behind-the-scenes clips, throwbacks, and early drops usually get posted on the DMX side first before they make their way out here.
This was one of them.
The basic is supposed to help introduce you to the dance.
It’s not supposed to trap you inside of one way of moving forever.
At some point, the goal becomes listening, adapting, responding, and learning how to reflect what the music is actually doing.
