Nobody expects a kid to ride around on training wheels forever.

They're there to help you get started.

The numbers work the same way.

They're a reference point, not a destination.

At some point, you've got to trust the music, trust your ears, and let the dance grow beyond the count.

A lot of dancers use two hands.

Nothing wrong with that.

The question is: do you need both of them?

One of the ideas explored in this Budland Exchange is why this is considered a one-hand dance and how using two hands can sometimes create unnecessary restrictions, confusion, and mixed signals.

Less forcing.
Less rushing.
Less proving.

More listening.
More chill.
More music.
