One of the strangest things in dance is that people will tell you what can't be done while standing right next to somebody who's doing it.

The example is right there.

The question is:

Who are you actually following?

The person getting the results...
or the person talking about them?

The longer you're around the dance, the more opinions you'll encounter.

Different teachers.
Different philosophies.
Different expectations.

None of that is necessarily wrong.

The question becomes:

How much of it actually fits you?

What are you seeing in your area?

Are dancers getting clearer as they learn more...
or more confused?

The X-Factor Series Class Kicks off on June 20th!!!
The Dave Maxx led class is coming to North Carolina, and will convene on 1st & 3rd Saturdays!
Classes will run for 3 hrs, giving participants the same education time that they would receive in 4 regular classes.
Sessions will be held at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Raleigh!
This class is not about moves. On both sides of the dance, learning to what options exist for you as a dancer as well as becoming a good decision-maker are the keys to developing a smooth, cool & sexy dance!
DMX classes are based on the original “No Count” methodology that has created some of the greatest dancers to grace the wood!
MUSIC is the lifeline of this dance! And it is what we focus on to help students to become amazing dancers! Join Us on June 20th and learn the principles that make your dance an experience!!!
We follow the cardinal tenets of dance passed down to us by the Dance Elders -
Dance Instruction should be….
1. Simple…This dance is easy!
2. Information should be Logical & Consistent. Concepts should make sense without lots or rules or adjustments.
3. Everything should come back to, and be attached to the MUSIC, not the format.

You don’t always need new moves.

Sometimes you just need a different way to look at what you’re already doing.

That’s where your connection to the music starts changing too.
