A quick post to say thank you for all of your excitement Offbeat Bikes' new look! Please forgive me if I still answer the phone as "Four Star this is Mandalyn" when you call, old habits die hard. 😅 I've loved handing out stickers and seeing your faces at the new shop door design. We’re under the same ownership, and still located at the familiar spot on Diversey Avenue in Logan Square. Are you joining us and our friends at Chicago Family Biking for Bike To School day on Wednesday? We're so excited! Some quick tips:

🗺️ Plan your route in advance. Use quiet neighborhood streets, bike lanes and alleys in your favor. Cross busy streets at lights using the sidewalk/crosswalk.
🛠️ Do an ABC Check on your bike the night before: Air up your tires, make sure Brakes are working, and check your Chain to be sure it's moving freely.
🧠 Wear a helmet! Your brain is worth it!
🌈 Dress in bright colors and ride in a group if you can. Blink your lights! Ring your bells! Be super visible!

Participants are eligible for a free t-shirt courtesy of your favorite family bike shop! 😉 Just remember to snap a photo on Wednesday to use as your entry. The shirt order form will be open and linked on Wednesday morning. Tag your friends below and tell us you're riding!
