The West Garfield Park YMCA is proud to serve as the home of the Chicago Sky’s 5th and 6th grade girls AAU basketball team. If you’re an experienced or advanced player, this is the place to be!

This is an incredible opportunity for young athletes to compete, develop their skills, grow as teammates and leaders, and represent the Chicago Sky brand. 💛🩵

Tryouts take place Saturday, September 12, at the West Garfield Park YMCA, 4305 W. Madison St., Chicago, IL 60624.

5th Grade Girls: Registration is from 9:30–10 a.m., followed by tryouts from 10–11 a.m.
6th Grade Girls: Registration is from 11:30 a.m.–12 p.m., followed by tryouts from 12–1 p.m.

🎨 A new mural is bringing Little Village to life inside the Rauner Family YMCA! ❤️💛💙

This summer, we partnered with - Yollocalli Public Art group to create “El Partido del Barrio,” our newest, beautiful, and very colorful mural.

The mural celebrates everyday life in Little Village and the many connections that make the neighborhood feel like home. Inspired by conversations with YMCA members, the Yollocalli Public Art group explored what helps a community flourish: people of all ages, local businesses, places to play and stay active, access to nature, and simple moments of kindness. These ideas come together in a colorful, playful composition created especially to spark curiosity and imagination in the children who visit the Rauner Family YMCA.

🎨 ¡Un nuevo mural le da vida a La Villita dentro del Rauner Family YMCA! ❤️💛💙

Este verano, nuestros amigos de - Yollocalli Public Art nos ayudaron a crear “El Partido del Barrio,” nuestro nuevo, hermoso y colorido mural.

El mural celebra la vida cotidiana de La Villita y sus alrededores y las muchas conexiones que hacen que nuestro barrio se sienta como un hogar. Inspirado en conversaciones con miembros del YMCA, el grupo de Yollocalli Public Art exploró lo que ayuda a una comunidad a crecer y prosperar: personas de todas las edades, negocios locales, espacios para jugar y mantenerse activos, acceso a la naturaleza y simples momentos de amabilidad.

Todas estas ideas se unen en una composición colorida y divertida, creada especialmente para despertar la curiosidad y la imaginación de los niños que visitan el Rauner Family YMCA.
