Soluna Wellness Center
Mental Health and Wellness Center in Mckinley Park
Every therapy office has a waiting room. We have a garden.
Not because it’s pretty (though it is). Because there’s medicine in walking through something growing before you sit down to do the hard work. And medicine in walking back through it after.
The garden is where some of our ceremonies happen. Where our clients pause before appointments. Where our kids run before sessions with Maya. Where our team eats lunch. Where Yeti supervises.
Come see it. Link in bio to learn more.

Aya’s self-care strategy:
1. Sit directly on the work.
2. Decline all unnecessary meetings.
3. Protect your peace—and your desk. 😹🐾
Soluna reminder: You do not have to earn rest. Sometimes the most productive choice is to pause and care for your nervous system.
La estrategia de autocuidado de Aya: sentarse sobre el trabajo, rechazar reuniones innecesarias y proteger su paz. No tienes que ganarte el descanso; hacer una pausa también es cuidar tu sistema nervioso. 💛
Yeti: “I’m practicing rest and healthy boundaries.”
Aya: “I heard that as an invitation to play.” 😹🐾
Mental-health reminder: You can love someone and still need space. Boundaries sometimes need to be communicated more than once—especially when the other person is a kitten.
Yeti: "Estoy practicando el descanso y los límites saludables".
Aya: "Entendí que era una invitación para jugar". 😂
Puedes querer a alguien y también necesitar espacio. Los límites a veces deben repetirse… especialmente con una gatito.

Yeti’s self-care plan:
1. Find the sunlight.
2. Close the laptop.
3. Take a nap like it’s on the treatment plan. 😹☀️
Friendly reminder from Soluna’s therapy cat: rest is not laziness—it is part of caring for your nervous system.
El plan de autocuidado de Yeti: buscar el sol, cerrar la computadora y tomar una siesta como si fuera parte del tratamiento. Descansar no es flojera; también es cuidar tu sistema nervioso. 🐾

The Men’s Weightlifting Group is a therapist-facilitated social-emotional support group where men come together to explore the weight they carry every day, including stress, responsibility, relationships, fatherhood, work, grief, expectations, identity, and mental health.
We all know a man in our lives working hard to provide and care for their loved ones. Whether it’s you or someone you know, it’s time to lift some weight off.
Send to someone who lifts heavy weights
Meet the Healers.
This one holds the somatic thread.
Linda.
Somatic Practitioner + Storyteller.
The stories we carry live in the body long before we have words for them. Linda works at that intersection — helping you feel what your history has been trying to say.
Bilingual. Trauma-informed. Rooted in tradition.

This is what a play therapy session actually looks like.
No couch. No clipboard. No “so how does that make you feel?”
Instead: art supplies, figurines, movement, and a therapist trained to notice what a kid is telling us through what they build.
Play IS the language. We just translate.
