St. Patrick Shamrocks Varsity 2026 defeated the Taft Eagles 6-4 to advance to the Regional Championship.

Connor Malone got the start on the mound for the Shamrocks. The right-hander allowed five hits and three runs over five and two-thirds innings while striking out five in a strong performance.

Congratulations to Joe Chase ’26 and Nana Achampong ’27 on punching their tickets to the IHSA State Finals after outstanding performances at today’s Sectional meet!

Joe Chase took 1st place in shot put and discus, while Nana Achampong earned 2nd place finishes in both the 100m and 300m hurdles.🏅

The Shamrocks are headed to Eastern Illinois University next week to compete in the State Finals. Go Rocks!
