Special thanks to all the college and high school coaches who took part in the kickoff meeting for the 24th Annual BODYARMOR Series.

College coaches across all different levels and backgrounds spoke to high school coaches across the region about the role they play and how they can help their student athletes and families in an ever-changing college landscape in 2026 and beyond.

At 8 pm Wednesday, players a part of the BODYARMOR Series College Showcase will hear from industry leaders about college recruiting insights, key tips for soccer media recruiting profiles and more.

College Recruiting: Tim Regan, head coach Bradley University - bio; Currently, he is overseas in Europe recruiting and will be calling in for this specifically. Jon Sandoval, head coach Loyola University - bio; Erin Coppernoll, head coach University of Wisconsin Oshkosh - bio; Jim Harkness, head coach Saint Xavier University - bio; Chris Koloffon, head coach Moraine Valley - bio

Goalies: Stan Anderson - bio and Sawyer Jackson, UIC goalie coach - bio

Stay flexible: Gema Garibay and Jonny Rodriguez. Two former all-state high school players from bigger clubs. Gema started at Southern Illinois then to South Suburban then to Trinity Christian College, where she led them to a national title. Next year, because of the college closing, she will be playing somewhere else. Jonny was team manager for Northwestern University first before getting a walk-on tryout.

Reminder: This Sunday - March 9 - is the makeup date for the lifesize player poster shoot!

More than 300 lifesize player posters featuring high school girls soccer players will hang on Opening Day of the 23rd annual BODYARMOR Series on April 12!

They’ll then hang at graduation parties, in homes, in college dorms, on social media and so much more.
